Osmanović and Cormack: It is necessary to ensure stable financing of cultural institutions

Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH Adil Osmanović and US Ambassador to BiH Maureen Cormack, devoted most of their attention during the talks to the situation in seven cultural institutions of importance to BiH, reports the Patria News Agency.

Minister Osmanović informed his interlocutor about the activities that the Ministry of Civil Affairs, in accordance with its competences, has undertaken primarily with the aim of financial stabilization in these institutions, and called for greater engagement so that their survival is not jeopardized. He expressed gratitude for the support that the Ambassador personally, as well as the country she represents, has provided to the preservation of Bosnia and Herzegovina's cultural heritage.

Minister Osmanović and Ambassador Cormack also discussed the situation in the field of education. They assessed that the prevention of discrimination and segregation in education, and ensuring equal access for every child to quality education in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is of exceptional importance, it was announced from the relevant ministry.
