Osmanović: Bosniaks and Croats in RS expect a lot from the "Domovina" coalition

The "Domovina" coalition today presented candidates in Banja Luka for the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament to be elected from the territory of Republika Srpska, for the President and Vice-President of RS and for the National Assembly of RS for the upcoming General Elections, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

As stated by Adil Osmanović (SDA), the holder of the list for electoral unit 5, a number of candidates have long-standing political experience, while others are young and professional individuals who are yet to take their first steps in politics.

- Our goal is to win as many seats as possible for deputies in the NSRS, somewhere between 10 and 12, to be the decisive force in forming the new Government of RS. To elect a Vice-President of RS and at least two deputies in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament. Given that the voters we are targeting are mostly returnees who are in a difficult social situation and that they are second and third-class citizens in the RS entity whose basic human rights are denied, they expect a lot from the "Domovina" coalition - said Osmanović.

He emphasized that this is primarily about better positioning of the Bosniak and Croat peoples in RS.

- Without politics and political power, you cannot expect positive changes to the Dayton Peace Agreement tomorrow. You must be a political factor in both entities to be able to initiate processes for the benefit of all citizens in BiH - said Osmanović.

Given that last night there was an attack on the Čaršija mosque in Prijedor, which is just one in a series of attacks, Osmanović said that an ordinary sports event that has little to do with BiH was the reason.

- Religious buildings that do not belong to the Serb people are immediately targets of attacks. This shows that the rule of law and order is still far away when it comes to the Bosniak and Croat corps - Osmanović stated for Patria.
