Osmanović: Amendments to the Pardon Law will be adopted during the next amendments to this law

The President of the SDA Club in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ismet Osmanović, told reporters that the opposition's amendments to the federal Pardon Law will be adopted during the next amendments to this law, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
SDA did not vote for the proposed amendments during yesterday's session of the PDPFBiH because it would be contrary to the Constitution of the FBiH.

SDP, DF, and Naša stranka sharply condemned yesterday the fact that the House of Representatives did not adopt the amendment by Damir Mašić, which sought to extend the ban on pardoning prisoners, to which the President of the FBiH is entitled, from war criminals and those convicted of genocide to include a ban on pardoning pedophiles, rapists, drug dealers, and terrorists, but the ruling coalition rejected this.

The President of the SBB Club in the House of Representatives of the PFBiH, Nasir Beganović, said that limiting the pardon of prisoners to the President of the FBiH is prohibited by the Constitution of the FBiH, and that it is first necessary to amend the Constitution, and after that to adopt the opposition's amendments as well as other constructive proposals, writes Patria.
