Osman ef. Kozlić after dismissal: I will save my arguments for the right time

SARAJevo, (Patria) - After the Reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina (IZBiH) Husein ef. Kavazović, three days ago, made a decision to dismiss the mufti of the Islamic Community of Bosniaks for Europe outside the homeland, Osman ef. Kozlić, the dismissed mufti addressed the public via Facebook.

"Dear friends! From the moment I read in Oslobođenje that I was dismissed from the position of mufti for Western Europe, I received numerous messages of support from relatives, some muftis, professors, students, imams, presidents of our communities and jamaats in Europe, as well as numerous friends from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe. Since I am unable to respond to everyone, I want to sincerely thank you," stated Osman ef. Kozlić.

He stated that in difficult moments for him and his family, he prayed to Allah to protect him from oppressors and to send him protectors and helpers from Himself.

"I do not want to waste words on those who have concocted all this. I only know that they will try what they have concocted. In a country and system where the rule that the 'accused' is innocent until proven guilty does not apply, it is illusory to present arguments in favor of one's defense. Therefore, I will save my arguments for the right time and the right moment," concluded ef. Kozlić.

Osman ef. Kozlić was dismissed due to irregularities in the Banja Luka Muftiship while he held the position of Banja Luka mufti.
