(Patria) - Although they were one of the strongest political organizations in Hadžići after the 2020 elections, it is increasingly likely that People and Justice will face the 2024 local elections significantly fractured, weakened in terms of personnel, and politically impoverished.
The problems began back in 2021, when Amina Redžepovac left People and Justice. After leaving NiP, Redžepovac did not join any other party; she continued to act as an independent councilor. This fact clearly indicates that it is not about political trading, but dissatisfaction with the policy of People and Justice.
Just before the candidacies for the upcoming Local Elections, councilors Lejla Rešidović and Nermin Vatrić also left the People and Justice Councilors' Club in Hadžići. They also expressed dissatisfaction with both the general and personnel policies of the NiP leadership.
The party led by Elmedin Konaković won eight mandates in Hadžići in 2020, and will end its term with five, of course, if the trend of departures does not continue.
According to unofficial sources in Hadžići NiP, dissatisfaction is also growing due to the intention of the party to re-nominate Enes Kazić for the mayor of Hadžići municipality. Kazić lost to Hamdo Ejubović in the 2020 elections and subsequently got a job in one of the companies owned by the Sarajevo Canton. It is evident that a part of the councilors, and thus the NiP membership, believes that they need a better solution in the race for mayor.
On the other hand, they are also dissatisfied with the quality of local and state policy of People and Justice. This particularly applies to their activities in the Municipal Council, as well as towards the residents of Hadžići municipality. On the other hand, councilors are also concerned about the party's direction, both within the Trojka coalition and in areas where NiP personnel are leading processes.
All of this has apparently filled and overflowed the cup, so many believe that People and Justice is far from being able to repeat its 2020 result. When it comes to Hadžići specifically, the stance of former NiP members is that it is almost an impossible mission to repeat the eight mandates from four years ago.
