Osim: Zukanović has been playing his whole life for this, and now bureaucracy is in his way!

Džeko and this young Višća played excellently - commented Ivica Osim, one of the best BiH football experts, for the news agency Patria (NAP) on the match in which the Dragons won 2:1 in St. Louis against the Ivory Coast team.

- We attacked at the beginning of the match, far too much, during their goal. They didn't adapt, Pape assessed that well, and we didn't let them develop their game. We could have scored a few more goals – says Osim.

A real victory at the right time, says this expert. It will be a strong motivational injection for the BiH footballers before the World Cup in Brazil, which starts in just a few days.

If they play at the World Cup like they were dynamic in St. Louis, there shouldn't be any major problems for Džeko and the team.

- They played correctly, the way they should always play. A very good match. It will be best for the players, and also for the fans, to see that all this is not in vain. All of this is good for a good atmosphere – says Osim.

Then he also commented on the case of Ervin Zukanović, who will not play with the Dragons in Brazil due to media statements that angered the Football Association, after which Sušić decided not to take him to Brazil. Zukanović did not receive an American visa on time for the friendly matches and criticized the BiH Football Association.

- Well, that's a normal reaction from an angry guy who has character. And it's good that he has character. It surely hurt the guy deeply. He needs to be understood. He has been playing his whole life to get here, and when he reached the water, someone prevents him from drinking. And all because of some bureaucracy – says Osim.

For him, Zukanović is one of the best players, who gives the coach more solutions. In addition, says Osim, he is responsible, experienced, plays in a responsible league, and in Brazil, he could have been a solution for the defensive midfielder and on the left side of our team.

- What happened to him is certainly a human tragedy. Let everyone ask themselves how they would behave if they experienced what Zukanović experienced – says Osim.
