Besides beating up boy Ajdin, commander of Police Station Osmaci Marković cocked a pistol at crime inspector Mehdin Ćivić

(Patria) - Commander of the Police Station Osmaci Dejan Marković, arrested yesterday, according to information coming from this small Podrinje municipality, besides excessive use of force, more precisely beating up boy Ajdin Jusić, is very likely to be held responsible for cocking a pistol at the crime inspector of the same Police Station, Mehdin Ćivić.

Politicki.ba has learned that Marković, after Ćivić gave his statement at the District Public Prosecutor's Office (OJT) on August 26, 2023, regarding the events of August 23 when boy Ajdin Jusić from Mahala was beaten, was called to the headquarters of the Osmaci Police Station the same evening, around 11 PM, where Marković, in front of several people, cocked the official pistol that Ćivić was carrying on several occasions.

We have learned that Mehdin Ćivić, due to the stress he experienced, sought medical help the same evening at the Health Center in Kalesija, from where he was referred to the Psychiatric Clinic of the UKC Tuzla.

Mehdin Ćivić currently refuses any contact with the media, but from sources close to the OJT in Bijeljina, we have learned that in his statement to the competent prosecutor, Ćivić testified about what commander Marković asked him and some of his colleagues to do in order to hide the truth about the beating of minor Ajdin Jusić, in which Marković was most likely one of the main actors.

Dejan Marković, head of the Police Station in Osmaci, was arrested yesterday along with police officers of PS Osmaci Novica Popović, Rajko Đurić, and Dragan Milutinović, for beating minor Ajdin Jusić from the village of Mahala.

Incidentally, Dejan Marković took over the leadership of the Police Station in Osmaci in January of this year, with six years of police experience.

In addition to a larger number of disciplinary offenses in service so far, and reports of illegal actions against citizens, where Bosniaks were his particular specialty, he also held a lower rank than Mehdin Ćivić, who was expected to be appointed head of the Osmaci Police Station.

In the media, one can find articles about Marković's alleged connection with members of the criminal milieu, which journalist Slobodan Vasković once wrote about, and in one of the videos circulating on social networks, he was seen in the company of a well-known drug dealer from Zvornik, Ljubiša Vidaković.
