Securing New Voters: HDZ BiH Will Soon Seek More Party Cadres in FBiH Public Administration

The Croatian Democratic Union will soon ask its coalition partners for more positions in the public administration of the Federation of BiH, where it will employ party cadres.

If SDA and SBB allow them to realize such a plan, HDZ BiH will gain hundreds of new guaranteed voters, who will ensure votes for them in the upcoming elections in exchange for jobs, claims a source for the BiH news agency Patria.

Member of the Federal Parliament Boris Barun asked the Government of the Federation of BiH a few days ago to provide him with data on the number of Bosniaks, Serbs, and Croats employed in public administration.

HDZ BiH expects that the number of Bosniaks working in the public administration of the Federation might be significantly higher compared to the number of Croats, after which, citing the endangerment of Croats in BiH, they will seek to equalize the number of Bosniaks and Croats in the Federation's public administration, disregarding the fact that - according to the yet-to-be-published census in BiH - there are almost four times more Bosniaks than Croats.

If successful in its intention, Čović will further strengthen his political position in the Federation, after having previously taken over almost all financial levers in the Federation, but also gained control over other institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes Patria.
