OSCE: BiH society cannot move forward as long as there are those who try to revise history

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - "BiH society cannot move forward as long as there are those who only look to the past, glorify xenophobia, racism and try to revise history. Such behavior has no place in a modern, democratic society. The authorities must investigate this," said the head of the OSCE mission in BiH, Bruce Berton.

Members of the Ravna Gora Chetnik movement in Višegrad marked the anniversary of the arrest of Chetnik general and World War II war criminal Dragoljub Draža Mihailović.

The Chetniks lined up on Sunday morning in the center of Višegrad, from where the song "There will be hell again and the bloody Drina, here come the Chetniks from the Serbian mountains" was heard. The US and British embassies in BiH also reacted, calling on institutions to "take the necessary steps, address these threats and hold them accountable."

The OHR also condemned, as they stated, the shameful events in Višegrad. 

"The competent institutions must investigate this and take appropriate actions against those responsible for hate speech. Today's events in Višegrad have no place in BiH society, reconciliation is the only path to the future," was published on the official Twitter account of the OHR.
