OŠ "Musa Ćazim Ćatić" soon to get new thermal insulation facade

As part of the implementation of the energy efficiency and renewable energy sources program, aimed at the energy-sustainable development of living space, the Centar Sarajevo Municipality is on the verge of implementing a new project for insulating primary school buildings.

The building of the „Musa Ćazim Ćatić“ Primary School has been designated for the insulation project, for which funds in the amount of one hundred thousand marks have been secured in the Centar Municipality budget for 2016, while an additional 50,000 KM was provided by the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning, which will co-finance the implementation of this project, as agreed in a contract signed by the relevant minister Josip Martić and the head of Centar Municipality Dževad Bećirević.

Activities are underway to conduct the public procurement procedure for selecting the most favorable contractor.

This project plans the renovation and insulation of the street-facing facade of the school building over an area of 1,250 square meters using the most modern technologies. In addition, the replacement of worn-out joinery over an area of 175 square meters will be carried out.

In the working material for the preparation of the draft budget of Centar Municipality for 2017, significant new funds are planned for the implementation of projects for insulating primary school and kindergarten buildings, as a contribution of this local community to improving working and learning conditions for the youngest generation, energy savings, increasing energy efficiency, and environmental protection.
