AF BiH are repairing the access road for the installation of a container settlement at the 'Lipa' camp

(Patria) - Members of the Engineering Battalion of the Tactical Support Brigade of the AF BiH, consisting of one road platoon, have been intensively carrying out tasks on the repair of the access road and the arrangement of the plateau for the installation of a container settlement at the 'Lipa' camp in Bihać for the past two days.

These were extremely demanding operations, especially considering that there were no indications of the road's route (due to mud and dirt) leading to the container settlement in the 'Lipa' camp in Bihać. In this regard, these activities required great experience and skill from the operators of the engineering machinery. The following equipment was engaged: five dump trucks, one roller, one grader, one excavator, and two towing vehicles. The maintenance of constant accessibility of communications to the container settlement in the 'Lipa' camp in Bihać also depends on these engineering operations, in order to improve the basic living conditions for migrants in this camp.

Through these demanding activities, the members of the Engineering Battalion of the Tactical Support Brigade of the AF BiH have shown that they are capable of performing tasks that contribute to assisting the local community, which is a result of the high-quality training of personnel and the constant maintenance of equipment.
