Members of the Armed Forces of BiH are on the ground today providing assistance in Željezno Polje near Žepče, after the use of the Armed Forces of BiH was requested and approved for clearing road communications in this location, announced the Ministry of Defence, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.
- It involves the use of personnel, machinery and material-technical resources of the Armed Forces of BiH. According to the earlier plan, members of the AF BiH are engaged today in repairing road communications, landslides, regulating river flows, and setting up pontoon bridges in the municipalities of Zavidovići, Derventa, Orašje, Bratunac, Brod, Olovo, Brčko and Dubrave - the announcement stated.
According to information from the Operations Centre of the Ministry of Defence of BiH, several more requests for assistance are in the approval procedure, including one for a landslide in the settlement of Donji Bradići near Maglaj, where around 70 houses are threatened.
