Armed Forces of BiH in Bosanski Petrovac Assisting in Road Clearing

(Patria) - Bosanski Petrovac received assistance from members of the Armed Forces of BiH, who, in cooperation with the Civil Protection Staff of the Municipality of Bosanski Petrovac and the presidents of local communities, were dispatched to the most critical locations in the municipality.



The goal of this action is to provide support to the most vulnerable citizens and ensure basic needs in extremely difficult conditions due to snow.

Currently, 30 members of the Armed Forces from the "Adil Bešić" barracks in Bihać are on the ground.

They are engaged in clearing roads and ensuring access for elderly and infirm individuals who require food and medicine deliveries.



In addition to soldiers, a skip loader without chains is also available, used on milder terrain, while a large machine with chains is expected to arrive by the end of the day.

The Municipality of Bosanski Petrovac also thanked the Government of Una-Sana Canton, led by Prime Minister Nijaz Hušić, for making all cantonal resources available to provide assistance to citizens as soon as possible, and Prime Minister Hušić is also expected to visit the location.
