Armed Forces of BiH seeking 400 new soldiers

(Patria) - The BiH Ministry of Defence announced today a Public Call for the admission of candidates into professional military service in the initial rank of soldier of the Armed Forces of BiH.

The deadline for applications to the Public Call is 21 days from the date of publication on the official website of the Ministry of Defence of BiH.

Young men and women who have completed secondary school of III and IV grade or are currently attending the final year of secondary school can apply for the call.

Some of the general conditions that candidates must meet are that they are citizens of BiH, that they are not younger than 18 years of age, nor older than 27 years of age at the time of admission.

By applying to the call, young people have the opportunity to secure a permanent and secure job, a professional career, and opportunities for advancement in the Armed Forces of BiH.

Candidates will be able to download the necessary information and application forms from the official website of the Ministry of Defence of BiH (www.mod.gov.ba) or obtain them in person from the recruitment and transition centers and get information via the following phone numbers:

c) Recruitment and Transition Center Čapljina, tel. 036/811-084; and

If candidates meet the general and specific conditions and submit the required documentation, they will be timely informed about the time and place of testing and verification, the start of basic military training, and other important information.

Candidate testing will be conducted in recruitment centers in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Čapljina, and Tuzla.

After the testing is completed, the Selection Commission will conduct interviews with the most successful candidates and, after the interviews are completed, will make a selection and propose candidates to the Minister of Defence of BiH for dispatch to basic military training.

Candidates who successfully complete basic military training will be admitted to military service in the initial rank of soldier to positions filled by candidates from all three constituent peoples of BiH, as well as from the category of others.
