AF BiH continue to be engaged in removing flood aftermath in Jablanica, Fojnica, Trusina

(Patria) - The Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina continue to be engaged in removing the aftermath of catastrophic floods that have struck BiH. On Monday, October 21, 2024, members of the Tactical Support Brigade of the BiH AF continued their activities in the endangered areas of Donja Jablanica, Fojnica, and the village of Trusina.

Personnel with engineering machinery of the Armed Forces of BiH are involved in the remediation and cleaning of the terrain, in coordination with local civil authorities.

During their engagement so far, all members of the BiH AF have shown their professionalism and training in tasks of providing assistance to civil structures in case of natural disasters.

Although some of them have suffered personal losses in these catastrophic floods, they did not spare themselves in helping the endangered population. There were no extraordinary events, injuries to members of the BiH AF, or damage to technical and material resources.

Should a new need arise, the Armed Forces of BiH are ready to deploy additional resources in the field, including helicopter capabilities.
