AF BiH engaged in flood damage repair near Mostar

(Patria) - Acting in a mission to assist civil structures, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina have engaged their units in flood damage repair tasks near Mostar since Thursday, September 11.

On Thursday, from 4 PM to 7:30 PM, 25 members of the Artillery Battalion of the 4th Infantry Brigade of the AF BiH from Mostar were engaged, with chainsaws and two trucks, and they were joined by 21 members of the 4th Logistics Support Battalion of the AF BiH Logistics Command from Čapljina, it was announced from the Mo BiH.

Today, members of the 4th Logistics Support Battalion of the AF BiH, numbering 25, are still engaged in terrain repair tasks, with chainsaws and several vehicles.

For the mission of assisting civil structures in case of natural disasters, the Ministry of Defence of BiH orders the engagement of the Armed Forces of BiH upon the request of the Ministry of Security of BiH and with the approval of the Presidency of BiH.
