Armed Forces of BiH engaged in snow removal

Snowfall and strong winds creating snowdrifts that have affected the northwestern part of BiH have caused numerous problems, so at the request of civil authorities, the engagement of the Armed Forces of BiH was requested to help remove the consequences of the snowstorm.

From the early morning hours of February 24, 2018, 56 members of the BiH AF, with four work machines, were engaged in assisting the local population in the area of the city of Bihać with snow removal and hauling in the city center, access roads to public institutions, and clearing pedestrian and traffic communications.

In accordance with the current weather conditions and the situation on the roads in BiH, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are ready and on standby to respond to the requests of civil authorities.
