Armed Forces engaged in road clearing across BiH

(Patria) - Due to heavy snowfall and drifts, many roads in our country are impassable.

Municipalities of Kneževo, Kotor Varoš, Drvar and the city of Banja Luka have requested the assistance and engagement of the Armed Forces (AF) of BiH.

Following approval from the Presidency of BiH, engineering machinery and members of the AF of BiH, as well as two specialized ambulances with medical teams for evacuation, have been engaged in clearing the road infrastructure in the mentioned municipalities.

Furthermore, the AF of BiH continue to provide assistance to the civilian population in the area of Donja Jablanica with terrain remediation, from the first day after the floods until today.

Through their actions, the AF of BiH demonstrate dedication and readiness in carrying out tasks prescribed by the BiH Law on Defense in all crisis circumstances and in all parts of BiH, the Ministry of Defense of BiH announced.
