Orhan Đuhera urgently needs our help!

Orhan Đuhera, a little boy from Novi Šeher, urgently needs the help of good people. This beautiful four-year-old boy has been diagnosed with dystrophy, a cyst on the brain, and a tumor on his foot, according to the Patria News Agency.

This is the primary diagnosis, and in the coming period, little Orhan must undergo detailed analyses to establish the concrete source of his health problems. However, these examinations cannot be performed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the nearest hospital that performs these tests is located in Ljubljana.

Unfortunately, the parents are unable to finance this medical treatment themselves, and these days they are sending an appeal for help to all those who can assist.

- Life, in Islam, is both sacred and a right. Sacred – because the Almighty created us in the most beautiful form and made us His vicegerents on Earth; and a right – because it is something inalienable to man, in itself. We are morally obliged to do everything in our power if the life of our brother or sister is threatened – especially if it is a young life; an individual of our society and community who needs to develop and realize themselves fully,” reads the website of the Association of Students of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, which has also launched a fundraising campaign.
