Orban is coming and bringing gifts for Dodik: Where are you, pro-Bosnian forces!?

The warnings of European thinkers and political experts that populism, neoliberalism and a meticulously crafted foundation for the defence of civilisation and Christianity against barbarians from various parts of the world pose a more serious threat to Europe as a continent and the Union as a large community than all other problems seem to have been in vain. 

In a word, neo-Nazism with admixtures of all other -isms, including the idiocy that at the beginning of the new millennium passes as the best political pamphlet. 

Two such individuals, almost physical twins in their goals, had an identical path from enlightened socialists, sensitive to the people, tragedy, law and justice, to political bullies who, in a directed and skilful manner, irritate Western centres of power with their policies for the sake of hidden and less hidden interests. 

Viktor Orban and Milorad Dodik do not have the same strength and position in geopolitical frameworks, but their paths are so identical that their crossing in the same sphere of interest was inexorable. The story of the indolence of those who should break up such international political clans is another matter, but this duo will soon become a landmine for civilisational values in our and surrounding areas. 

There are more similar ones in that nest, but the duo forging some new political testaments on the Budapest-Banja Luka route is increasingly dangerous for Bosnia and Herzegovina. We know everything about Dodik, but it seems we do not understand Orban in Bosnia and Herzegovina as we should. 

Or at least not as he is understood somewhere far in the West, where spices for Bosnian-Herzegovinian political delicacies have long been prepared. We should understand Orban exactly as former Donald Trump strategy playmaker Stephen Bannon described him, calling him “the most significant guy on the political scene right now”. 

Such an Orban is a perfect partner for conservatives from America to Australia, especially the former, so even the great Mike Pence came to his feet, and Financial Times editor Edward Luce places him among the guiding stars of the Republicans, who could use Orban's path for Trump's return in 2024. And who, besides Orban, can better teach cunning American conservatives how to be opportunistic towards the values they once lived for. 

Because, although Hungary's influence in broader geopolitical frameworks may be minor, minimising it within the EU or the continent itself is wrong. Perhaps even too dangerous. Orban has long been a missionary of evil policies, a bulldozer clearing the way for worse ones to come. 

And on that path, Bosnia and Herzegovina has found itself, which he will visit at the end of January. After the holidays, but with gifts. He is coming at the invitation of Dodik's Zoran Tegeltija. 

First, prompted by some plan, he decided to form a fund and pump 100 million euros into the BiH entity. Into an entity where there are no Hungarians, which is drowning in debt, corruption and crime. Into an entity with no international significance, bypassing the state level of Bosnia and Herzegovina. And again, everything passed without a serious reaction from the proverbially lethargic Sarajevo. 

Just as few ask what Orban is bringing us in Sarajevo, why only with Tegeltija and at a time when Bosnia and Herzegovina is shaken by perhaps the greatest post-war crisis. 

The linking of European populists and neoliberals is dangerous precisely for countries like ours, and we are witnessing that Bosnia and Herzegovina is becoming their most serious target, due to its fragility and lack of protection. 

That is why we must repeat calls to the sleeping budget beneficiaries at the top of the state pyramid to wake up, winter hasn't even started yet. It is time, gentlemen with the highest salaries, to finally start acting. 

Use the fact that conservatives are not the main ones in Washington after all, shake up Brussels, Berlin, Paris, connect with the recovered London. Because Orban is coming and bringing dangerous gifts. 

The Hungarian Santa Claus will undoubtedly wrap his gifts in quality cellophane of friendly and economic relations between Hungary and BiH, and under the cellophane will be hidden and packaged support for the secessionist policies of Milorad Dodik.
