Indictment against Vrsalović for swearing at police officers securing the Presidency

(Patria) - The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed an indictment against Victor Srećko Vrsalović (1968) for swearing and physically attacking police officers who were securing the building of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Vrsalović is charged with obstructing official police officers of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina (DKPT BiH) in carrying out their official duties.

The accused allegedly, near the building of the Presidency of BiH, on Maršala Tita Street in Sarajevo, directed swear words and threats at police officers of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, who were working on securing the facility.

Furthermore, the accused resisted the orders of authorized officials and physically attacked the police officers, damaging their police uniform, after which he was subdued.

The accused is charged with using force to prevent officials in BiH institutions from performing an official action they were undertaking within their authority, thereby committing the criminal offense of Obstructing an Official in Performing an Official Action.
