
(Patria) - The Municipal Court in Sarajevo has confirmed the indictment of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office against Samir Agić for the criminal offense of assault on an official person in the performance of security duties.
The accused is charged with, on July 30, 2021, at around 5:08 PM, at Josip Štadler Street up to number 18, coming to a location that, due to a previously occurred fire in one of the apartments at the said address, was marked with police tape “STOP”.
The accused ignored the lawful order of the police officer of the Stari Grad Police Station to move away, then attacked him, lunging at him and pushing him backward, directing curses and threats at him, saying, among other things: “I am the deputy minister, you will lose your jobs, you will see, you will see who I am, I know what you drive and where you live.”
The prosecuting attorney proposed for the main trial the hearing of nine witnesses and the presentation of more than 20 pieces of material evidence.
