Optimism ahead of the match with Wales: Ibišević and Salihović believe in victory

In the Training Centre of the BiH Football Association in Zenica, the BiH national football team is preparing for October 10th, when they will play a qualifying match against Wales at the Bilino Polje stadium, reports a reporter from the Patria News Agency.

Vedad Ibišević, a BiH striker who has returned to form and is scoring great goals for German Hertha, said today that he expects a difficult match.

- We are playing against the team that has been the biggest surprise. We have injury problems, but I am sure we can win, that is our main and only goal. I am glad that I am in good form, I have got the playing time I was looking for, I am trying to give my best. Wales is well-organized, they have strong players, but we also have quality – Ibišević emphasized.

Sead Salihović, who has returned to the Dragons, emphasized that they must give their all, aiming to win, regardless of how it happens.

- We need a victory more than ever. Wales is a strong team, we all know that. I think we have the quality and I think we can win. Our fans will help us – Salihović noted.

Assistant coach of selector Mehmed Baždarević, Dragan Perić, told reporters that they have prepared everything and analyzed Wales' matches in order to be ready for this important match.

- The health status of Lulić and Džeko is satisfactory, and according to our information, both will be available to the staff – Perić stated, adding that Džeko is awaiting the results of his latest medical examinations.

He explained that if Džeko does not play, Hodžić and Đurić will be able to adequately respond to the set tasks.
