Farewell to Kemica: Family, friends, colleagues gathered at the National Theatre

Family members, friends and numerous colleagues from the public and cultural life of BiH came to the National Theatre Sarajevo to attend the commemoration for Kemal Monteno, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

It is certain that the NP hall will be too small to accommodate all those who wish to pay their respects to Kemica. The burial will be held today at 14:30 at the Bare city cemetery.

Incidentally, today's session of the City Council began with a moment of silence for the late Bosnian singer-songwriter.

The 67-year-old Monteno died seven days ago at the Rebro hospital in Zagreb due to complications after a kidney transplant. He developed a fever, followed by pneumonia, and his body could not withstand it.
