Caution due to high temperatures

(Patria) - In the northwestern regions, and in some northern areas, we draw attention to intermittently wet roads. Meteorologists predict high daily temperatures for today, as well as possible local precipitation in the afternoon hours, reports BIHAMK.

Due to numerous inquiries from citizens, we highlight the information that traffic is permitted for all vehicles up to 3.5 tons of total mass on the Jablanica-Blidinje main road.

Due to asphalting works today (05.07.) from 08:00 to 17:00, traffic is suspended at the roundabout in Kiseljak (junction of Kraljice Katarine R-443 with Bana Josipa Jelačića street M-5).

Due to asphalting until tomorrow morning (06.07.), traffic is suspended on the Mostar-Čitluk-Brdo Hum main road. During the suspension, alternative routes are: Mostar-Rodoč-Varda-Čitluk and Mostar-Žovnice-Međine-Miljkovići-Čitluk.

Also today (05.07.) from 08:00 to 18:00, due to asphalting, traffic is suspended on the regional road R-413a Ovčarevo-Galica. During the suspension, the alternative route is R-413 Turbe-Vlašić.

Works are ongoing on the sections of the Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever and Banja Luka-Doboj motorways, as well as on the main roads: Zenica-Žepče (Topčić Polje), Kladanj-Vlasenica (Vitalj), Tuzla-Šićki Brod (turn for Lipnica), Ustikolina-Goražde (Mravinjac), Sarajevo-Pale and Vrhpolje-Ključ.

Due to active landslides, we highlight the main roads Dobro Polje-Foča (at the locations Sijeračke stijene and Tuhalji) and Gacko-Tjentište (between the Čemerno and Surdup tunnels).


There are long queues of vehicles at the border crossings for exiting Bosnia and Herzegovina: Prisika, Doljani, and Ivanica, and at the Brod and Velika Kladuša border crossings for entering our country. At other border crossings, passenger vehicles are not currently waiting longer than 15 to 30 minutes.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons.

We note that waiting times at border crossings are subject to frequent changes. Drivers have access to video surveillance cameras on our website bihamk.ba.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can travel through the Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends, they can cross between 22:00 and 06:00), according to BIHAMK.
