Drivers, be cautious: Slippery roads and icy patches

Due to low temperatures, roads are icy and slippery in places this morning. Fog reduces visibility on sections in valleys and along river flows, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

We advise drivers to drive slower and more cautiously on sections passing through cuttings, due to possible landslides. We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution, maintain distance between vehicles, and not to set off on a journey without winter equipment. 

Due to ground movement, traffic is suspended for trucks over 3.5 tons of maximum allowed mass and buses on the M-5 Sarajevo transit section. During the suspension, traffic is rerouted through the city of Sarajevo.

Due to construction work, traffic is completely suspended at the Blatuša interchange in Zenica. Passenger vehicles and vehicles up to 7.5 tons use the Radakovo interchange, while trucks over 7.5 tons coming from the direction of Sarajevo and Travnik use the Lašva interchange.

Among other roads with ongoing works, we highlight the main roads: M-17 Zenica-Žepče, M-16.2 Prozor-Jablanica, M-4.2 Bihać-Cazin, and M-16 Jajce-Banja Luka, as well as roads in the wider area of Mostar (north and south entrances to the city and roads within the city).

There are no long delays at border crossings for now.
