Caution while driving: Ice and rockfalls

In most parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning, traffic is on wet and occasionally slippery roads. In higher areas, as well as on sections in valleys and along river flows, fog and low clouds reduce visibility, according to BIHAMK, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

We highlight the wider areas of Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje, Livno, Kupres, Glamoč, Zenica, Doboj, Živinice, Olovo, Kladanj, and parts of Sarajevo Canton. Encounters with ice are possible on shaded parts of roads in higher areas, as well as on bridges and approaches to tunnels.

We also draw attention to frequent rockfalls onto the road, and we highlight the roads: Zenica-Žepče, Crna Rijeka-Jajce, and Dobro Polje-Miljevina.

Road service crews are on the ground and intervening on all sections where necessary, and we appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution, to adjust their driving to the current road conditions, and not to set off without winter equipment.

Due to an activated landslide, traffic is suspended on the section of the M-4 main road Simin Han-Kalesija (in Babajići). The detour via Dubrave is in operation.
