Caution While Driving: Increased Risk of Landslides

In most parts of our country this morning, roads are predominantly wet or damp, with an increased risk of landslides, announced by BIHAMK, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- Vehicle traffic on most roads is light to moderate, with the exception of urban centers where traffic is heavier during the morning hours. Due to frequent landslides, we particularly draw attention to the following roads: Bugojno-Novi Travnik, Sarajevo-Foča, Jajce-Banja Luka, and Brod na Drini-GP Hum, and on the main road M-18 Trnovo-Miljevina-Brod na Drini, we warn of the danger of avalanches.

We advise drivers to drive more cautiously, adapting to the current conditions on the roads, and not to set off without winter equipment.

On the A1 motorway on the Zenica-Tarčin section, the road surface is locally damp, while on the A-1 Zvirovići-Bijača section, driving is on predominantly dry roads.

At border crossings this morning, there are no long waits.
