Caution while driving: Slippery conditions, possible landslides

Due to low temperatures, roads are icy and slippery in places this morning. Strong winds in the areas of Bihać, Bosanski Petrovac, Livno, Mostar, and Čapljina are causing additional difficulties for drivers, according to BIHAMK, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

- Fog and low clouds are reducing visibility in the wider areas of Bugojno and Ključ. On sections passing through cuttings, we draw attention to possible landslides of earth and stones onto the road. Road crews are intervening on all sections where necessary, and we appeal to drivers to adjust their driving to the road conditions and remind them that winter equipment is mandatory for all vehicle categories.

Due to the construction of a new bridge, traffic is suspended on the M-17 Stup-Rajlovac main road on the section from the Briješće roundabout to the intersection of Rajlovac and Safeta Zajka streets. The alternative route is via the Briješće roundabout to the bypass (part of the A-1 highway), and then to the Butila interchange and further in the direction of Zenica (Jošanica) or Mostar (Vlakovo).

Due to ground movement, traffic for trucks over 3.5 tons of maximum permissible mass and buses is suspended on the M-5 Sarajevo transit section. During the suspension, traffic is rerouted through the city of Sarajevo.
