Municipality of Travnik Donated 20,000 BAM for Remediation of Damage Caused by 2014 Floods

The Mayor of the Centar Sarajevo Municipality, Nedžad Ajnadžić, and the Mayor of the Travnik Municipality, Admir Hadžiemrić, signed an agreement on the allocation of financial resources for the remediation of a landslide in the Travnik area, which occurred during the floods in 2014. On this occasion, the Centar Municipality donated 20,000 BAM to the Travnik Municipality.

Hadžiemrić expressed great satisfaction with the assistance provided by the Centar Municipality to this local community, as well as to other municipalities and towns that suffered damage due to the major floods.

- I thank Mayor Ajnadžić. These funds will help us in the remediation of the landslide that occurred on a very important local road route "Zagrađe-Luke", said Hadžiemrić, expressing hope that in the coming period, the Travnik Municipality will not need assistance of this nature.

Mayor Ajnadžić added that the Centar Municipality will continue to provide support to those local communities in need.

- The citizens of Travnik deserve our support and assistance. In this way, we primarily want to help those citizens whose homes and safety are threatened by the occurrence of landslides, emphasized Ajnadžić.

After the floods in May 2014, the Centar Sarajevo Municipality allocated half a million marks from its budget for assistance in the remediation of damage.
