Municipality co-finances purchase of special VW Caddy vehicle for war paraplegic military invalids

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Ilidža Municipality will co-finance the purchase of a special VW Caddy vehicle for the needs of the Association of War Military Invalids Paraplegics in Sarajevo Canton, agreed at a meeting on January 22, 2020, by the mayor Prof. Dr. Senaid Memić and the president of this association, Elvis Sudar. The Association of War Military Invalids Paraplegics of Sarajevo Canton has 60 members.

“The purchase of this vehicle will greatly help in our daily activities. We are war military invalids of the most severe form, and the vehicle will be useful for the smooth transport of our members for hospital check-ups, transport of members to the station-club of RVI paraplegics KS - station, and also for faster and better resocialization and their integration into the social environment. Thank you to the mayor for understanding,” said Elvis Sudar, president of the Association of War Military Invalids Paraplegics of Sarajevo Canton.

Mayor Prof. Dr. Senaid Memić emphasized that when allocating budget funds, special attention must be paid to this category.

“We must take care of all of them. Of course, we also know that no matter how much we give them, it is not enough compared to their sacrifices,” emphasized Mayor Memić.
