(Patria) - The Municipality of Ilidža announced on Friday, July 19, a Public Call for subsidizing the installation of solar systems for own needs on individual housing units in the area of the Municipality of Ilidža.
The subject of the Public Call is to provide technical and financial support for the preparation and implementation of the installation of solar systems for own needs on individual housing units in the Ilidža municipality area.
The activity is being carried out within the framework of the "Green Economic Development – Phase III" (GED III) project, financed by Sweden and implemented by the UNDP office in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It aims to encourage citizens, owners of private properties, to use solar panels as a measure to support the transition to clean energy, combat air pollution and energy poverty, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and decrease the number of citizens suffering from respiratory diseases in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Public Call allows for subsidizing the installation of solar systems for own needs on residential buildings in the amount of up to 50% of the procurement and installation cost of the equipment. In addition to the subsidy, for qualified applicants, financing is provided by the Municipality of Ilidža and UNDP for the full amount for:
* preparation of technical documentation for the solar system that will be subject to implementation and financial support,
* quality control of the prepared technical documentation,
* expert supervision during the execution of works.
All interested persons who are owners/co-owners of individual housing units where they reside, in the area of the Municipality of Ilidža, can apply for the Public Call.
The deadline for submitting applications is August 20, 2024, by 5:00 PM.
