Municipality of Ilidža signs contracts with scholarship recipients - Mayor Muzur: Youth are a priority

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In accordance with the Decision on awarding scholarships to talented pupils and students in the 2021/2022 school/academic year, the first scholarship contracts for the 2021/2022 school year were signed today at the Municipality of Ilidža.

Due to epidemiological measures, the signing of contracts was organized in several shifts to reduce crowds in the Multifunctional Hall of the Municipality of Ilidža, where the mayor Nermin Muzur congratulated the scholarship recipients and their parents (guardians), who signed the contracts on behalf of underage high school students.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Ilidža stated that young people must always be one of the priorities of all local communities, and wished the present pupils and parents the best of success in this school year, hoping that they will meet the conditions to apply for scholarships awarded by the Municipality of Ilidža next year as well.

Otherwise, after the public call for scholarships for talented pupils in secondary education and students in higher education in the 2021/2022 school/academic year, the Municipality of Ilidža awarded a total of 446 scholarships, of which 178 were for pupils and 268 for students.

The Department for Education, Culture, Sport and Youth will continue signing contracts with scholarship recipients in the coming days, and it will be held in the Multifunctional Hall of the Municipality of Ilidža (Butmirska cesta 12) at the following times:

For high school pupils:
December 17, 2021 (Friday) from 9 AM to 12 PM

For higher education students:
December 20, 2021 (Monday) from 9 AM to 11 AM and from 1 PM to 3 PM
December 22, 2021 (Wednesday) from 9 AM to 11 AM and from 1 PM to 3 PM

It is necessary to bring an ID card for signing the contract and to adhere to the prescribed epidemiological measures.

For entry into the Multifunctional Hall, use the entrance on the side of the Municipality of Ilidža building (entrance from the parking lot).
