(Patria) - The Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, held a working meeting with representatives of the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board with the aim of strengthening cooperation and implementing new projects that will further contribute to the development and improvement of tourism.
With a share of about 40% in the total tourist traffic of Sarajevo Canton and over 605,000 overnight stays in 2023, Ilidža Municipality is not only the most visited in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but it has more registered overnight stays than any other canton.
As an important and extremely well-visited tourist destination, one of the most significant planned projects is the opening of a tourist information center in an attractive location, which aims to facilitate tourists' access to information about tourist facilities and make their visit experience as fulfilling and high-quality as possible.
The continuation of cooperation on the development and continuous promotion of Ilidža Municipality's tourist offer through all marketing activities of the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board Visit Sarajevo, and active involvement in the further development of all tourist capacities, has been agreed upon.
