Municipality of Ilidža allocated over one million KM for student scholarships

(Patria) - In the premises of the Municipality of Ilidža, the signing of contracts with pupils and students who have qualified for scholarships in the 2023/2024 school/academic year has begun.

For 400 pupils and students who have achieved excellent success, 667,370 convertible marks have been allocated from the Budget of the Municipality of Ilidža, and the scholarship amount has been significantly increased thanks to a recent decision by the Ilidža Municipal Council.

In addition to scholarships for talented pupils and students, contracts have also been signed for the scholarship of 171 pupils and 41 students who have a certain income per member of the joint household in the 2023/2024 school/academic year.

338,610 KM has been allocated for this program. The sum of funds allocated from the Budget of the Municipality of Ilidža for these two programs amounts to 1,005,980 KM.

The highest monthly scholarship is now 220 KM, which shows that the Municipality of Ilidža is a leader in scholarship allocations.

"I think this is a strong signal and message to young people that we care about them and that this is concrete help to parents in educating their children. They are our future, our strength, which tells us that we must not stop because of them," said the Mayor of the Municipality of Ilidža, Nermin Muzur.
