(Patria) - By signing self-employment contracts with 23 people, the Municipality of Ilidža has continued the positive trend that characterized it in previous years in 2024.
Through this program, applicants will receive financial resources from the Municipality as incentives and support for registering independent activities, and 170,000 KM has been allocated from the Municipality of Ilidža Budget for the realization of this program.
"We will continue with quality programs that create new jobs in the future, and I believe that the self-employment program, for which the Municipality has allocated 170,000 KM, is one of the best," said the Mayor of the Municipality of Ilidža, Nermin Muzur.
In accordance with the Labor Law, the Municipality will pay incentive funds to the persons with whom the contract has been concluded for the next 12 months. From the date of its signing, the Municipality of Ilidža will pay incentive funds in the amount of 600 KM monthly, for co-financing of contribution costs. The aforementioned amount is increased by 400 KM, which is awarded immediately after signing the contract, and will be used to cover the costs or part of the costs for registering an independent activity, while all other potential costs will be borne by the recipient of the funds.
It is worth noting that in 2020, there were about 20,000 employed people in the municipality of Ilidža, and by the end of 2023, that number exceeded 27,000, which is an increase of 30%.
"In addition to the investments of the companies themselves, this is also the result of the quality and good business environment that the Municipality of Ilidža has created in the past three years, thus creating a desirable place for the development of business and business ideas," Muzur stated.
