Ilidža Municipality allocated 90,000 KM for entrepreneurial initiative development

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - With the intention of helping those starting their first job, as well as a measure to mitigate the negative economic consequences caused by the coronavirus, the Ilidža Municipality has allocated an additional 20,000 KM from the budget for the promotion of entrepreneurial initiative and employment in this municipality. By a previous Decision, 17 candidates received the planned amount of 70,000.00 KM, which was distributed to all candidates who met the conditions of the Public Call, but it was less than the amount they requested. With amendments to the Budget of the Ilidža Municipality, an additional amount of 20,000 KM was allocated. 

The specified amount of funds was distributed in accordance with the Criteria for selecting business plans for these 17 candidates. The contracts were handed over in the Ilidža Municipality hall on September 21, 2020. We remind you that the Ilidža Municipality has also announced a public call this year for co-financing the best business plans with funds from the Budget of the Ilidža Municipality, intended for the development of entrepreneurial initiatives and the employment of young people and women from the Ilidža municipality area. Based on the public call, the best business plans of young people were selected. The monetary award is intended for co-financing the costs of starting a business by financing the costs of business registration, costs of working capital, rental of business premises, operating funds, and other costs. The amount of non-refundable funds per business plan was a maximum of 5,000.00 KM.
