(Patria) - Ilidža Municipality wants to ensure a clean and beautiful environment, free of garbage. The procurement and installation of new, modern bell-shaped containers for household waste disposal is underway. The containers allow all citizens to properly dispose of household waste, thus preventing dogs and other animals from scattering garbage, as the disposal bins are equipped with a foot mechanism that opens only when pressed.
Proper waste disposal will positively influence changes in citizens' habits and awareness regarding environmental protection. The containers have been installed at two locations: in dr. Mustafa Pintola street (three units, with a capacity of nine cubic meters of garbage), and in Emir Bogunića Čarlija street (four units, with a capacity of 12 cubic meters of garbage).
The value of the investment is 24,896.02 KM. The contractor is the company "BABEL" d.o.o. Sarajevo. We call on citizens to use this infrastructure and to care for the environment in which they live.
