Centar Municipality: Parks and green areas arranged at multiple locations

As part of the Program for arranging smaller public and green areas in the Centar municipality, led by the municipal Department for Spatial Planning and Communal Affairs, workers of the communal company "Park" completed works in the last quarter of last year on arranging green and smaller public areas at multiple locations in 12 local communities in Centar.

For these works, the Centar Municipality allocated nearly 118,000 BAM from its budget.

In the area of the local community ''Skenderija-Podtekija'' public areas were arranged on Fehima efendije Čurčića 8, Skenderija 24 and Podgaj streets, then at the intersection of Skenderija and Soukbunar streets, around the staircase connecting Terezija and Borak streets, and the promenade along the Miljacka River from the Skenderija Bridge to the Suada and Olga Bridge in Vrbanja was arranged.

In the local community ''Marijin dvor-Crni vrh'' works were completed on Halida Nazečića 4 and Kranjčevića streets between numbers 13 and 19 and near number 25, while in the local community ''Breka-Koševo II'' the arrangement of the plateau on Ismeta Mujezinovića Street between numbers 20 and 28 was completed, as well as the revitalization of green areas on Hasana Sušića 15 and between Hasana Sušića 20-36 and Safeta Pašalića streets, then on Asima Ferhatovića Street along the Koševo Clinical Center, and on Patriotske lige Street. In the local community ''Park-Višnjik'' a green area along Bolnička Street was arranged.

On Koševsko brdo green areas were arranged on Antuna Hangija 55-57 Street, while in the local community ''Bardakčije'' the area around the Podhrastovi Family Medicine Clinic on Bardakčije 26 Street was arranged. The area behind the building of the local community ''Hrastovi-Mrkovići'' on Panjina kula Street up to number 78 was also arranged, as well as the area around the local community ''Soukbunar'' (Soukbunar 203). In Šip, as part of the mentioned program, a new sports field was built on an area of 210 square meters (local community''Betanija-Šip'').

In the area of the local community ''Trg oslobođenja-Centar'' employees of the communal company ''Park'' worked on horticultural arrangement of the Veliki Park as well as the park near the Hygiene Institute and arranged the green area on Radićeva Street between numbers 1-17 and between numbers 4a-4d. In the local community ''Mejtaš-Bjelave'' works were completed on Tina Ujevića 1-7, Nikole Kašikovića 7-9, Čekaluša 15 streets and at the intersection of Sepetarevac and Envera Čolakovića streets. In the local community ''Džidžikovac-Koševo I'' green areas were arranged on Jezero 5 Street and along Alipašina Street over a length of 270 meters.
