Centar Municipality Donated 30,000 KM to Skenderija Centre

The Centar Municipality allocated 30,000 KM from this year's budget for the needs of the Cantonal Public Enterprise Skenderija Centre. This is a grant intended for co-financing sports projects of clubs and schools from the central Sarajevo municipality, as well as projects in the field of culture that are being implemented at the Skenderija Centre, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

During the signing of the protocol, the director of the Skenderija Centre, Hajriz Bećirović, emphasized that this is not the first time the Centar Municipality has helped Skenderija.

– In 2013, we received 100,000 KM from the Municipality for co-financing cultural and sports activities in Skenderija. I thank the mayor Dževad Bećirević and the Municipal Council of Centar for all the support so far. For the funds allocated from this year's budget, the doors of the small hall 'Mirza Delibašić' will be open for primary schools and clubs from Centar, and we hope that the Municipality will financially support our other projects by the end of this year – said Bećirović.

Zakira Šero, the assistant mayor for education, culture, and sports of the Centar Municipality, also attended the signing of the protocol.
