Centar Municipality to renovate children's playground in Branilaca Sarajeva Street again

Employees of the public utility company Park, within the agreement on the arrangement of smaller public areas that the Centar Municipality concluded with this company, will in the coming period renovate the children's playground in Branilaca Sarajeva Street, the Patria agency reports.

Park employees will paint the swings, seesaws and a combined apparatus, as well as waste bins, with eco-friendly paint. They will also replace damaged slats on benches.

The Centar Municipality of Sarajevo has been allocating significant financial resources for the arrangement of public areas for years, all with the aim of providing citizens with better living conditions. Thus, in the past five years, over 1.5 million marks have been allocated for the arrangement of smaller public and green areas, which are most often the place of recreation for the elderly and play for our youngest fellow citizens, and this year, the Centar Municipality has provided 255,000 KM for the renovation of green areas and children's parks in 15 local communities.

Incidentally, this park was already renovated at the beginning of September 2015, but vandals have managed to destroy the furniture to date.
