Centar Municipality supported the project Gender and Sex through the Education System with 2,000 BAM

A major problem among young people is ignorance about stereotypes, prejudices, and gender and sex discrimination. The Foundation „Cure“ has launched the project „Gender and Sex through the Education System“, the implementation of which was financially supported by the Centar Sarajevo Municipality with 2,000 BAM as part of its support for non-governmental organization projects, Patria reports.

The goals of the said project are to create an environment and setting where young people can openly discuss issues, encourage young people to think about gender and sex in order to understand the differences between these two concepts as well as violence prevention, and to encourage young people, freeing them from prejudice and discrimination.

The project participants are young people and high school students from the Centar municipality area, and among other things, the organization of educational workshops in schools is planned.

We remind you that in this year's budget of the Centar Municipality, 300,000 BAM has been allocated to support projects of non-governmental organizations and associations.
