Centar Municipality Organizes Education for Members of Local Community Councils

In order for members of the newly formed councils of 15 local communities of Centar Municipality to carry out their duties as successfully as possible, educational lectures have been organized during which they will be introduced to general concepts related to the functioning of local self-government, announced the Centar Municipality, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The first cycle of education for members of local community councils, conducted by members of the Association for Dialogue in Family and Society "Mali koraci" Amra Pandžo and Zikreta Tubić, will be held from July 15 to 17, 2014.

The first lectures are on July 15 in the local community Mejtaš–Bjelave (for council members of local communities: Mejtaš-Bjelave, Park-Višnjik, Breka-Koševo II, Bardakčije, Hrastovi-Mrkovići). The following day, lectures are in the local community Koševsko brdo. The education will be attended by council members of local communities: Koševsko brdo, Donji Velešići, Betanija-Šip, Pionirska dolina-Nahorevo, Ciglane-Gorica.

On Thursday, July 17, the lecture will be held in the local community Marijin dvor-Crni vrh, and will be attended by council members of local communities: Trg oslobođenja-Centar, Marijin dvor-Crni vrh, Skenderija-Podtekija, Soukbunar and Džidžikovac-Koševo I.

All lectures are from 5 to 7 PM. The second cycle of lectures is in September, Patria reports.
