
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In accordance with the conclusion of the emergency session of the Municipal Civil Protection Headquarters, funds in the amount of 60,000 marks have been secured in the budget of Centar Municipality for the purchase of a respirator for the needs of the General Hospital „Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš“.
The protocol on the allocation of funds for this purpose was signed on behalf of Centar Municipality by Mayor Nedžad Ajnadžić, and on behalf of the General Hospital by Director Zlatko Kravić.
During the signing of the protocol, Ajnadžić emphasized that Centar Municipality is fully committed to the fight against the coronavirus and is undertaking all measures and activities to prevent the spread of this infectious disease.
"Last week, we donated funds for the purchase of a respirator to the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, and the procurement of thermal cameras is underway. We have also initiated the procurement procedure for protective medical equipment for the needs of healthcare institutions, as well as a medical vehicle for the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo. As a socially responsible local community, we stand at full capacity at your disposal. We must all do everything in our power to prevent the spread of the virus and mitigate the consequences," Ajnadžić pointed out.
Ajnadžić and Director Kravić took the opportunity to once again appeal to all citizens to stay at home and avoid all unnecessary movement, especially lingering and gathering in public places.
