General Hospital 'Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš' Presents Results: Uncomparably Larger Scope Than Before

(Patria) - A press conference will be held in Sarajevo today on the results of the introduction of a new mode of operation, as well as other current issues related to the work of the General Hospital "Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš".
The total number of services provided from 17.07.2020 to 17.09.2020 is 198,414. The total number of examinations via the emergency center is 5,999. Total surgeries (elective + emergency + outpatient) 1,726.

Otherwise, the acting director of the General Hospital "Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš", Ismet Gavrankapetanović, recently sent a letter to the Government and Assembly of KS, as well as to the Health Insurance Fund and the Management and Supervisory Boards.

In it, Gavrankapetanović is asking for money so that the General Hospital can meet all the obligations prescribed by the Government.

"The organization of work of healthcare institutions has been harmonized and the so-called 'patient pathway' has been defined, according to which the Public Institution General Hospital 'Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš' Sarajevo is responsible for providing all secondary level healthcare services throughout all 7 days of the week. This organization has entrusted a much larger scope of services to the General Hospital, which it performs with maximum conscientiousness and responsibility, providing healthcare services in an uncomparably larger scope than it previously provided to the citizens of Sarajevo, for which it should also be financially secured," wrote Gavrankapetanović.
