General Hospital Records a Record in Patient Admissions and Care

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - During yesterday (Thursday, September 24), 69 patients were admitted for further treatment at the "Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš" General Hospital, and 49 were discharged, which is a kind of record in the operations of this healthcare institution.

A total of 90 patients were examined at the Emergency Center yesterday, of whom 12 were admitted to the hospital, and 3 surgical procedures were performed. At the same time, 26 operations were performed in the operating rooms, and two of them were emergencies.

The promise made by Prof. Dr. Ismet Gavrankapetanović, acting director of the General Hospital, that every patient seeking medical assistance at this institution will be adequately cared for, is confirmed every day. In the past slightly more than two months, the General Hospital has opened its doors wide to patients, examining, caring for, and operating on hundreds of people, and providing thousands of medical services.

The staff is making great efforts to respond to the huge number of requests from our citizens for medical services, and despite everything, they will continue to do so.
