OO SDA: Due to Salko Tursunović's treacherous policy, Srebrenica is again getting streets named after war criminals and the unconstitutional day of Republika Srpska

(Patria) - The Collegium of the Srebrenica Municipal Assembly has included the Decision on changing street names in Srebrenica in the agenda of the session scheduled for February 29.

The Municipal Board (OO) of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Srebrenica points out that the President of the Srebrenica Municipal Assembly, Salko Tursunović (SDP), also joined such a decision by voting for the adoption of such an agenda.

"From the very beginning, we warned about the disastrous policy that Serbian politics is pursuing to the detriment of Bosniaks, to which Salko Tursunović has joined.

A few months ago, Salko, together with Serbian political parties, misused the representatives of NIP and formed a Commission for changing street names.

With this treacherous policy of Salko Tursunović and the team of people around him, Srebrenica, after 25 years, is again getting streets named after war criminals, the unconstitutional day of the Republika Srpska entity, and persons in whose organization and under whose leadership war crimes were committed, including the crime of genocide.

We once again call on Salko Tursunović, if he has a shred of morality, to resign and stop being a Serbian servant by pursuing a perverse policy for Bosniak returnees to Srebrenica.

We call on the High Representative to actively engage in the events in and around Srebrenica, and in accordance with his powers, to make decisions and at least somewhat restore the dignity of the victims of genocide.

We demand from the leadership of SDP to officially state whether Salko Tursunović is a member of their party and whether they agree with the way their cadre, as he presents himself, is conducting politics in Srebrenica," stated the OO SDA Srebrenica.
