What they didn't kill, they now want to erase!

Awaiting the results of the BiH Census, those who suffered the most during the aggression are again afraid – Bosniaks!

Now, with special methodologies, they will eliminate non-resident Bosniaks, and as Sejfudin Tokić explains, these are "those who managed to escape the knife".

Once survivors, but will they be now? Politicians representing the Bosniak people, primarily SDA, have warned two or three times that they will not accept such results, but they have accepted the Census Law, which does not recognize the terms resident and non-resident.

Therefore, stronger advocacy of positions is expected from them, not just mild statements, which are reaching the public.

If they couldn't kill us, now they want to erase us, and we still have no one to complain to. Sheep in war, now in peace, victims of the RS Government's manipulations, which aims to reduce the number of Bosniaks in the smaller BiH entity.

Victims once – victims forever. The president of Preporod, Senadin Lavić, has also spoken publicly and warned that "the non-publication and concealment of census results aids those who committed genocide, and the publication of data will reveal the scale of the genocide committed in the name of Greater Serbia or other projects".

But it's like casting pearls before swine... because for years it has been shown that the policy that should protect Bosniaks, with its actions, heals the wounds caused by the moves from the RS. Has the time come for our policy to deliver a blow to the RS authorities, so that they heal their wounds or explain how they couldn't erase 430,000 residents.

The system there has ensured that returnees don't think much about it, sending special forces to their homes to look for terrorists, so people, in fear, don't ask for much except peace and freedom, which has been significantly disrupted in the RS.

The census should serve economic development, strengthen rights and investments, and provide accurate projections for what is needed where.

However, shaken by the financial crisis, the RS Government decided that the most important thing is to erase twice as many Bosniaks as Serbs from the census, even though the population ratio in BiH is not like that in the end. Then, they can more calmly await 2017 and call a referendum on RS independence, as envisioned and ratified by declaration by Milorad Dodik.

One might say, always one step ahead... And who cares that BiH is plagued by a "white plague", while a smaller majority enjoys and multiplies its offspring. The only salvation are international experts who should once again save what BiH politicians cannot. Until June 8, when they arrive, we can expect anything, but not concrete actions, because besides "we do not accept such a census," we will see nothing, and the voice of Bosniak intellectuals remains just an echo in the heads of those who are now fighting for public companies!
