TV broadcast of the match between Željezničar and Široki Brijeg enabled

After lengthy and  intensive talks between the responsible persons of FK Željezničar, the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina and BH Telecom, the Club has nevertheless decided to enable the broadcast of the 3rd round match of the BHT Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina between FK Željezničar and NK Široki Brijeg, so that fans of both clubs would not be deprived of watching one of the most interesting matches of the entire season. The match is scheduled for 8 PM, Patria reports.

FK Željezničar is a partner of the N/FSBiH and a subject in defining the modalities that regulate TV rights and overall relations with the football governing body. Therefore, the decision of the Club's management to challenge the broadcast of the 3rd round match of the BH Telecom Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina between FK Željezničar and NK Široki Brijeg is not contrary to the NFSBiH statute nor relevant regulations and decisions, and does not jeopardize the implementation of the sponsorship agreement with the company BH Telecom.

FK Željezničar, as the most trophy-winning club in Bosnia and Herzegovina, promotes synergy between the Association, clubs and sponsors, supports all actions of the Association that improve overall relations and wants a transparent model of work with the N/FSBiH on all issues including fees for TV rights.

Revenue from ticket sales and revenue from TV rights are an extremely important segment of the total cash inflows into the Club, and accordingly all structures of the Club have a special responsibility to act with the care of a good businessman and to be familiar with the rules.

On Monday, August 8 at 1 PM, a meeting of the responsible persons of the Club, the Association and BH Telecom has been agreed, with a clearly defined agenda where all open issues will be discussed and an attempt will be made to systematically resolve the problem.
