Omerović: With the government's law, ministers will hire in institutions, then we don't need the Agency

MP Rasim Omerović at today's session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH, speaking about the proposed Law on Civil Service, said that if this government law passes, then the Agency for Civil Service of FBiH should no longer exist, reports a reporter from the Patria news agency.

Omerović requested the withdrawal of the Government's Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Civil Service in FBiH. He also requested that the Law on Civil Service be regulated by a completely new Law on Civil Service, rather than amending the existing one.

-The existing law has already undergone a large number of amendments, but it has never provided an adequate solution, Omerović emphasized.

He warned that, if Parliament adopts the Government's Proposal today, the authority to hire in public institutions will be given to ministers, while the Agency for Civil Service in FBiH will be completely bypassed. Omerović, for the record, froze his membership in the SDA a few months ago and became an independent MP.
